Weather making travel tricky

The winter storm that moved across Colorado and east is making travel to the Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show challenging. Cattle producers were finding flights cancelled and roads icy and snow-packed. We’ve heard stories of producers leaving early to get ahead of the storm or postponing their trip a day, in the hopes that travel conditions would improve.

High Plains Journal Field Editor Doug Rich had planned to cover the Pfizer Animal Health Cattlemen’s College tomorrow, but he was unable to travel. Cross your fingers that tomorrow will be a good travel day for him, as well as fellow editors Holly Martin and Kylene Scott.
